What is the Restorative Yoga class about?
This class will teach you how to unwind after a long week and get you ready for a relaxing weekend. Through active and passive restorative yoga poses, we will learn how to slow down and tune in with our breath. There will be a strong emphasis on the importance of practicing self-care and breathing properly.
What will we do in the class?
We start each class with guided meditation and breathing exercises.
We practice combination of active and passive restorative poses that will synchronize your breath and movement.
With the help of an attentive teacher, you will learn how to use yoga props (such as bolsters, blankets, belts and chairs) which will give you access to the therapeutic benefits of yoga poses.
We will take the time to pause and feel the therapeutic effects of poses in our body and mind throughout the practice.
The class will finish final resting pose, Savasana with essential oil therapy and meditation.
