Embodied Parenting

Dates & Time: Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 6-7:30pm

Investment: $15

What: As parents, it’s a pretty broad concensus that it’s important to know how to prioritize our kids and choose based on what we understand is best for them. Unfortunately, it can be all too easy to take this to an unhealthy extreme! What inevitably happens to all of us at least some of the time, is that we get stuck in this mode of giving all our best attention to their needs, their wants, their whims…. Hypothetically, we can get on board with the idea that knowing how to turn our attention to ourselves as parents is worthwhile. Yes, prioritizing the connection to ourselves is important because we deserve to get our own needs met and to understand what is true for ourselves, so let’s work together to keep practicing that for our own good! AND the act of turning towards ourselves, in the best moments, as well as the most challenging moments with our kids is actually VITAL to being the best parents we can be. This workshop is designed to offer practical tools and skills for tuning in to ourselves in those moments- both for ourselves and for our kids!
