Jeanette Nicastri, MSW, LCSW, EMDR



Jeanette believes that people have an inner wisdom that can be brought to light within the confines of a safe, therapeutic space and during the therapeutic process. As you are the expert on your life, Jeanette knows that her job is to assist in helping you tap into what you already innately know in your heart and soul.


Jeanette has high levels of integrity, empathy and compassion for others, which she uses within an eclectic, strengths-based therapeutic approach with clients. This approach combines, amongst other things, Psychodynamic Theory, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness approachs to treatment. 


Jeanette is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado, and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has enjoyed over two decades of practice in a variety of settings, working with adolescents and adults from a range of cultural backgrounds and experiences. She has worked in diverse settings such as outpatient community mental health centers, adoption and foster youth agencies, urban and suburban public school settings, domestic violence agencies, city and government agencies as well as providing therapy to active duty service members and their family members in Germany.
